Tese e Projeto de Conclusão de Curso em Arquitetura e Urbanismo pela Universidade de Brasília, que teve como objeto a criação de um livro infantil ilustrado sobre a cidade de Bogotá, Colômbia.
O livro explora diversos aspectos da cidade, incluindo elementos históricos e geográficos, como a paisagem e formação de território, bem como o tecido urbano, que engloba diferentes temporalidades, diversidades construtivas e materialidades. Além disso, examina fatores socioculturais como costumes, interações e migração.
Tendo como pano de fundo a memória coletiva e afetiva da cidade, o livro aborda o espaço urbano e os conceitos de patrimônio na perspectiva da literatura infantil.

Thesis and Final Project for my bachelor's in Architecture and Urbanism focused on creating an illustrated children’s book about the city of Bogotá, Colombia.
The book explores various aspects of the city, including historical and geographical elements, such as the formation of landscapes and territories, as well as the urban fabric, which encompasses different temporalities, construction styles, and materials. Additionally, it examines sociocultural factors like customs, interactions, and migration.
Set against the backdrop of the city’s collective and affective memory, the book addresses urban space and the concepts of heritage from the perspective of children's literature.

Tendo a cidade de Bogotá, sua formação e sua rica diversidade cultural como ponto focal, a identidade visual do livro se expressa através do conceito da colcha de retalhos.
Esta técnica de contar histórias representa diferentes escalas da cidade: a escala macro destaca a diversidade do tecido urbano; a escala mezzo concentra-se na arquitetura; e a micro escala mostra as fachadas das edificações, a tipografia vernacular, os ofícios urbanos, bem como as vivências e manifestações socioculturais e políticas que acontecem no espaço da cidade.

With the city of Bogotá, its formation, and its rich cultural diversity as the focal point, the visual identity of the book is expressed through the concept of a patchwork quilt.
This storytelling technique represents different scales of the city: the macro scale highlights the diversity of the urban fabric; the mezzo scale focuses on architecture; and the micro-scale showcases building facades, vernacular typography, urban trades, as well as sociocultural and political experiences and manifestations that occur in city spaces.
